Aktiv Fritid – ut på tur, has made a varied and exciting Via Ferrata route which contains long and exhilarating rappels, balancing, rock climbing, climbing ladders and up ravines.

The Via Ferrata Route consists of 5 parts with a varying degree of difficulty. Anyone with an average physical condition can complete this activity. During the activity, the participants may choose how many parts of the route they wish to complete.

We have, to the greatest extent possible, utilized natural holds and steps in the mountain and established the route in our activity area at Base Camp. The activity can be combined with our other activities and finish with a meal in our evocative Gamme.

The excellent view and the close proximity to the sea creates a fantastic mood for the climbing trip. Boats will be driving out to Verdens Ende beneath your mountain boots.

Participants have, in addition to normal climbing gear, a Via Ferrata chord which they use to secure themselves to a wire during the climb. The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 12 who are in normal physical health, and who wishes to try some mountain climbing and rappelling.

The participants should wear normal outdoors activity clothing and mountain boots/mountain shoes with a stiff sole. We have climbing shoes available if anyone wishes to borrow them.
